Dalton School

EngageAI piloted programming at the Dalton School in the fall of 2023, and has been working in coordination with the Dalton New Lab Department since. We are involved at Dalton in two major capacities, with the faculty and the middle school student body.

On a monthly basis, we lead AI programming in 6th and 8th Grade classrooms on Deepfakes and Artificial Intelligence, in coordination with the Dalton New Lab Department. We’ve had the privilege of teaching approximately 100 students here.

I loved this class, and I retold this presentation to my younger sister. I also played the Which Face is Real game again!

Additionally, EngageAI was also involved with the Dalton School’s Professional Development Day in February, 2024. Working alongside the New Lab department, we helped prepare and co-lead an image-creation workshop for about 20 Dalton faculty members.

A few months later, in early June, EngageAI supported with the New Lab Collaborative, a week-long faculty professional development space focused on AI.

In late August, 2024, EngageAI resources were used to help the Dalton Computer Science Department build an AI-curriculum for 8th-grade students.
